The invention relates to a fixing arrangement for a vehicle-body part, in particular for the rear end of a motor vehicle.
In known rear-end fastening arrangements of this type, the mounting sleeve and the flange, as a component, are firmly connected to one another by means of screws. At the end of the assembly process, each of the screws is tightened to a predetermined torque and subsequently the screws are covered with a cover plate in order to prevent their being loosened again. However, it is frequently not possible to guarantee that the screws that are used are correctly tightened, and also there is the risk that parts of the fastening screws that have been secured will be exposed as a result of the securing in the cover plate and fall off. A further disadvantage of this type of fixing is that the cover plate has a relatively large wall thickness and, consequently, the cover plate is subject to stress.
A fixing arrangement for a vehicle-body part, in particular for the rear end of a motor vehicle, is already known from German patent document DE 196 34 669 A1, in which the mounting sleeve and the flange are screwed together, and the screw connection is covered by a separate cover plate. To ensure that the screw connection is not detached at the assembly of the vehicle-body part, the screw connection is integrally attached to a holding sleeve, by means of which the screw connection is fixed in the flange and the mounting sleeve.
